Diplomat Realty was founded by
Kim Schwartz and Shari Saratovsky.
Shari
and Kim are fourth and fifth generation Chicagoans, respectively, and have
roots in Chicago
that precede the Chicago
fire. Kim and
Shari are Chicago'spremier mother-daughter real estate team

, Kim M. Schwartz has served northern Illinois
buyers, sellers, and investors since
1994. Throughout her 16 year career she has coordinated and facilitated both
residential and profitable commercial property transactions throughout Chicago
and the
surrounding suburbs. Concentrating both in investment properties and
residential transactions she applies her extensive knowledge of the Chicago
area and market
trends. Applying this knowledge and experience results in not only finding the
best properties for her clients, but coordinating the acquisition of properties
that develop into thriving investments. Kim has partnered with her daughter,
Shari Saratovsky, over the past six years to create a strong full-service real
estate team. As a recognized industry expert Kim has been frequently featured
as the guest lecturer at several real estate investment seminars and on Chicago
radio, educating
home buyers, sellers, rehabbers, and property investors. Focused on her
community, Kim has also worked
directly with ChicagoPublic School

faculty,

Shari Saratovsky
Shari Saratovsky is co-founder of
Diplomat Realty, Inc. She has over six years of experience in residential and
commercial real estate sales and marketing.Shari
began her career in 2004 as a
real estate salesperson.
She received
her real estate broker's license in 2009.Shari
specializes in the sale and
purchase of residential condominiums, townhouses, single family homes, and
multi-unit buildings.Shari
also specializes in the purchase, sale, and management of multi-family
buildings.
She has managed all aspects
of property development, from acquisition through construction and sales to
end-users.
She focuses much of her time
on community outreach and education.Shari
has trained junior real estate associates in
marketing, sales, and commercial property development.Shari
regularly
lectures at various real estate education institutions as well as first-time
home buyer seminars.Shari
along with Kim Schwartz - also created and successfully executed the "Chicago
Public Schools Teacher Campaign."
Through this campaign Shari
educated
faculty, staff, parents, and community members on the home buying and selling process.
Shari earned her Masters of Science at DePaulUniversity
in Public Services, with a specialization in metropolitan planning.
She was inducted as a Chaddick Scholar in
recognition of scholarship and service to the Chaddick Institute for
Metropolitan Development.
During her
studies at DePaulUniversity
, Shari participated in several
redevelopment projects in New Orleans
,
Louisianafollowing the devastation wrought
by hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Shari wrote grant proposals to raise money
for community development in New
Orleans

Mid-City neighborhood.
She also performed needs assessments to
determine the allocation of grant funds to needy communities and
organizations.Shari

extensive experience in real estate combined with her educational background in

Marie Levin
Marie
Levin earned her real estate license in 1986, and has over 24 years experience
in selling real estate.
Marie is trained
and certified in selling foreclosures, short sales, and real estate owned (REO)
properties.
She created and leads
Diplomat Realty’s foreclosure department. Marie oversees all of Diplomat
Realty’s foreclosure, short sale, and REO transactions.
Her goal is to provide services that exceed
the highest professional standards. Marie feels that her clients deserve timely
and accurate information during all phases of the real estate transaction.
Marie has unlimited foreclosure and REO
resources available to meet all of her clients’ needs. She has access to the most comprehensive list
of foreclosures available. Marie is also trained in foreclosure
prevention, and has prevented many clients from foreclosing on their
homes.
She has kept many clients in
their homes that were on the verge of foreclosure.
